Synchronize
Synchronization is an automatic process of coordinating events or data in unison. Some devices may only be partially synchronized due to capacity limitations. In regards to programming, relative intervals between events may need to be determined, while others may only call for the sequential pattern of the events. When properly configured, synchronization can be an essential tool for creating reliable dependable devices. However, the excessive use of this process when not required is liable to falter a device and make it much less reliable. Here are some examples of synchronization: • Film - synchronization is often used to accordingly match images, audio and video in motion pictures. • Encryption - many networks typically require some type of synchronization to make sure bits are being decoded accordingly • Streaming - synchronization is a very important aspect in fields such as digital telephony and digital audio in which streams of data samples can be manipulated • MP3 Players - synchronization take places when audio and video content is taken from a media player application and installed onto a portable multimedia player
