Remote Control SoftwareRemote Control Software Remote control software existed long before the World Wide Web. It’s purpose then was mainly to diagnosis computer issues. The internet has since changed that purpose, giving a much broader definition and use for remote control software. The web has essentially created a platform that enables anyone to operate this type of application and communicate with millions of users and computers. Remote control software can simply be defined as an application furnished by those providing the service of different applications.
Remote control software can be separated into programs for use within an intranet or on a public network. In a private network, it is often used to control all machines from a central location. Remote control software is also used in LAN (local area networks) where one computer is the resource center for other machines. In this scenario, the software may have the ability to automatically reconfigure other computers or shut them down over a period of time. |
