Internet
The internet literally consists of millions of smaller networks that make up one robust network. All of these networks contain and offer various services and information including electronic mail, blogs, chatrooms, file transfer clients and many other resources provided by the World Wide Web. Often associated, the internet and the World Wide Web are not exactly the same. The internet is a robust collection of interconnected computer networks. These computers may be linked by fiber optic cables, copper wires, wireless technology and so forth. The World Wide Web is robust collection of interconnected files and resources. These resources are connected by hyperlinks and web addresses. The World Wide Web is essentially one of the many services that can be accessed with the internet. Other services may include email servers, file sharing platforms and online game rooms. The internet is most often used to identify the World Wide Web and has been listed as it’s synonym in the Roget New Millennium Thesaurus.
