HamHam While many anti-spam solutions are available on the market, some users have decided to battle spam by creating a ham password. This is a unique password system that requests mail senders to follow a protocol when delivering messages. If they truly want to send a message to someone else, a ham password must be included stating that they are authorized to do so.
When implementing a ham password, a user must be able to make sure legitimate senders are able to locate it and follow the procedure. This can be done by using a web page that lists the mail domain, along with the ham password a sender is supposed to use. It would be a good idea to include graphical distortions to shield data from intruders blended with text for the visually impaired. A user must be careful here as many spammers operate on automated systems that can easily translate plain text. |
