Cryptography

Cryptography consists of various techniques. The methods employed to secure data include using microdots, combining texts with images, and several other ways that conceal information during transfer or while in storage. In modern times, cryptography is mostly related to the scrambling of clear or plain text into ciphertext, a process more commonly known as encryption. The procedure becomes decryption once authentication is proved and authorization is granted. Those who practice in this field of data security are called cryptographers. Modern forms of cryptography have the following objectives: Integrity Confidentiality Non-repudiation Authentication Protocol that meets all or some of this criteria is known as a cryptosystem. Though cryptosystems are often strictly linked to using computer applications and mathematical approaches, they actually anticipate by regulating human behavior. This is done by logging off systems that are not being used, restricting access to sensitive information and assigning strong passwords. This ability to secure and transfer data has become quite favorable in business and military procedures.
